Galvanised steel anchors are sturdy. The drill diameter for drilling the hole into the concrete corresponds to the diameter of the wedge anchor to be mounted. 38" (M10) wedge anchor requires a 38" (10 mm) diameter hole.
When the anchor is inserted into the drill hole, the clip of the wedge anchor begins to expand during the nut tensioning process, creating a firm hold of the attached elements.
